Boo at Bellingrath is Oct. 29 at Bellingrath Gardens and Home

WASHINGTON, D.C. – (RealEstateRama) — Bellingrath Gardens and Home will present a brand-new Halloween event, Boo at Bellingrath, on Saturday, Oct. 29. Dress up your little ghosts and goblins and come to the Gardens for a day of spooky fun!

The Gardens will be filled with Halloween-themed inflatables to guide visitors along the pathways to the Great Lawn. Local businesses and organizations will set up numerous treat stations to hand out candy and trinkets to guests.

Boo at Bellingrath will include three Magic Shows featuring Dr. Gee and his magic balloons; Halloween storytelling with our friends from Mobile Public Library; music with the Back Pew Riders; food trucks on the Great Lawn; and extra goodies and surprises throughout the Gardens, sure to please all ages.

Magic Show times are 11:30 a.m. and 12:30 and 1:30 p.m. After the last show, Dr. Gee will create Halloween characters with balloons on request. Children may choose from a wide variety of designs, including pumpkins, ghosts, skeletons, hats — even Spiderman!

Previous fall events at Bellingrath took place in the early evening, but Boo at Bellingrath will begin at 11 a.m. and end at 3 p.m. to make it easier for families with young children to enjoy trick-or-treating in the Gardens.

The admissions and parking procedures have been streamlined for Boo at Bellingrath, which is a pre-ticketed event. Guests must order tickets ahead of time at bellingrath.org.

Although the official hours for Boo at Bellingrath are 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., the Gardens will be open during the regular hours of 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission is $13 for adults and $7.50 for ages 5-12. There is no charge for Bellingrath members and children 4 and younger.
