January 16, 2009 – (RealEstateRama) — The deadline for submitting entries for the 2009 Alabama Remodeling Excellence Awards (AREA) has been extended to Friday, January 23, 2009. The awards competition, which salutes the best of Alabama’s remodeling industry, is open to all remodelers, contractors, kitchen and bath designers, architects, and other remodeling industry professionals.
Awards will be presented in a total of 12 categories, ranging from bath remodel to additions to whole house remodel to outdoor living. Projects must have been completed between June 30, 2007 and December 31, 2008 in order to qualify for entry.
The AREA program is organized by the Home Builders Association of Alabama’s Remodelers. The winners will be announced at the 2009 AREA banquet on March 21, 2009 at the Marriott Legends at Capitol Hill in Prattville.
