Washington, D.C. – (RealEstateRama) — Anita Crittenden has joined Bank Independent’s Mortgage Lending Department as a mortgage originator. Based in the Bank’s Muscle Shoals sales office, Crittenden will assist customers across the Shoals with their mortgage needs.
Crittenden began her career with Bank Independent in 2000 as a teller and has served as personal banker and sales manager of the Muscle Shoals sales office. In 2009, she was promoted to sales officer and relocated to the Sheffield branch in 2011.
Before joining the Bank Independent team, Crittenden was a Realtor and broker associate in the Shoals area for 15 years and was deeply involved in the real estate community.

A 35-year resident of Muscle Shoals, Crittenden graduated from Bradshaw High School in Florence and the North Alabama College of Commerce in Huntsville, in addition to completing professional development courses of study in real estate. She has one son, Daryl, an actor who resides in Los Angeles.
