Mr. Byrd, who previously held the role of vice chairperson, will serve as chair for a one-year term.
The Real Property, Probate and Trust was established to promote the objectives of the ASB within the field of real property, trust and probate matters. As chair, Mr. Byrd is considered to be the chief executive officer of the section, thus maintaining charge of its general direction and affairs.
Mr. Byrd’s primary areas of practice include extensive experience representing developers, owners, and financial institutions in a wide variety of commercial real estate transactions, including NMTC, Senior Housing, Retail, Office and Multi-Family.
